Car Interior Repair

With the harsh elements that your vehicle is subject to at the best of times and normal wear and tear, your car could use car interior repair sooner then later.

Depending on what has happened to cause the damage will dictate what will need to be done. Some damage is easily corrected but other damage will require replacement pieces from your local junk dealer or car parts store.

Before jumping into a repair job, ask yourself if it is worth the time and effort. Also you will find that some car interior repair jobs can be delayed with simple cleaning and surface moisturizing.

In many warm climates, your car interior will crack, flake or simply begin to age aggressively, if not protected before hand.

This will be easy to accomplish with your favorite vinyl or leather restoration cream or cleaner. Keeping your non-cloth surfaces clean and moisturized will keep the interior great for many years.

But if you have inherited a damaged interior and have to perform a car interior repair, again, price out the repair against replacement or cover ups. I once had a car that had severely damaged bucket seats and I was able to price out slip on covers that were very reasonable and look great.

I ended selling the car with the seat covers on it.

If you have dashboard damage, again, your repairs will be dictated by the type of damage. Investigate the shrinkage that has occurred around the damage to first determine your course of action. If there is minimal shrinkage, then you are in luck.

In many cases cuts, cracks or burns can be repaired very simply. If you have had some shrinkage, you may start to look at replacement parts. Damage of this type has had some time to sit and will be much more difficult to rectify.

Circular designs are found on the four air-vents, instruments, centre stack show and the controls for the heating and air- conditioning.

Moreover, the Mazda2’s three-spoke steering veer comes with a unique design with mounted controls. Ikuo Maeda, Chief Designer of the Mazda2 commented: “Looking for a significantly more dynamic starting point with an even sharper Mazda identity, we started effective again with a blank piece of paper. Our goal was to make the maximum amount of dynamism in a length of 3.88 metres without sacrificing functionality.”

The unique and appealing interior design is complemented with a host of standard and optional entertainment and in rank in-car systems, as well as functional interior feats.

These features include glove box with an open magazine rack, floor centre console between the front seats with drink holder, 12-volt socket to power or charge electric devices, AUX jack for connecting digital devices like iPod or any other MP3 players, 60/40 split rear seat, diffident central locking, electric adjustable door mirrors, manual or automatic air-conditioning , an MP3/CD changer, front seat heating and leather steering veer with leather gear budge knob, and adjustable speed warning system.

Moreover, Mazda extends the safety of the vehicle with Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System (MAIDAS), ultra-high strength front bumper, strengthened side sills and floor pan cross members, shock-absorbing pads in the door trims, pillars and roof side rails, large rear bumper beam and new side members, and seatbelts with pretensioners and load-limiters. These safety feats allow the Mazda2 to be included in the vehicle models that have the best occupant protection.

The all new Mazda2 also comes with a range of powertrain options including Mazda MZR 1.3-litre petrol engine that produces 55 kW/ 75 PS or 63 kW/ 86 PS; a 1.5-litre petrol unit that produces 76 kW/ 103 PS, and a fuel-efficient MZ-CD 1.4-liter common rail turbo diesel engine. Having Your Car Reconditioned Before You Sell It

Having Your Car Reconditioned Before You Sell It

If you are considering selling your car, there is no skepticism that the better it looks, the more money you will get. Not only will it look more aesthetically pleasing, but potential buyers will reckon it has undergone a lot of like and care.

Aaron Baird is the title-holder of West Coast Recon, a mobile automotive reconditioning company based in southern California. Here, he clarifies that having your car reconditioned before you sell it is sure to increase its resale value.

Taking an Example

In today’s market, a lot of cars are for sale. If you are selling a Honda Civic, for example, 500 people may be tiresome to sell that same car. Your car needs to be the best looking if you want to sell it for the best price. If a lot of insignificant dents and scratches are on your Honda Civic, potential buyers will get the overall appearance that your car is run down and ancient, and offer you a price accordingly. Therefore, you are not going to get your asking price.

Repairing the Interior of Your Car

We can repair nearly anything surrounded by your car by using products designed especially for the interior. We redye carpets, leather seats, and steering wheels using the best water-based dyes. We also repair small rips and tears in leather, plastic, and vinyl. Cigarette and cigar burns can be repaired in your velour, leather, and carpets. Small scratches in the dashboards, consoles, arm rests, door panels, seats, headrests, cushions, and even radio controls can be restored to look as excellent as new.

That is why it is worth having us come out and look at your car before you try to sell it, as our services will increase the value of your car. The Kelly Bluebook has different levels of how much a car is worth, according to the overall shape up of the car. If the car is brilliant, meaning it does not have a lot of scratches, the price will go up.

At West Coast Recon, our goal is to provide customers with body shop quality work but at a much lower price and in much less time. We know how we can help add thousands of dollars to your car’s resale value, no matter what type of car you drive. Call us today for our top-notch car reconditioning service.

How To Recondition Your Car

How To Recondition Your Car

Aaron Baird owns West Coast Recon, a mobile car reconditioning company. Based in southern California, the company offers a financially viable alternative to the traditional body shop as it can do on-the-spot repairs for a fraction of the price. Here, Baird discusses why his business is able to save you time, money, and a lot of hassle.

Cleaning Carpet Stains in Your Car: Many people mistakenly believe that a ripped or dirty carpet in their car needs a full replacement, but this isn’t the case. It is possible to repair car carpeting, and even dye it so it looks like new.

Fixing a Bumper Scrape: Fixing a bumper scrape is probably 80% of what we do. This is our target job because every single car in southern California will need to have this procedure done at some point or a further.

Fixing a Car at the End of Its Rent: When your rent is over, the last thing you want to do is pay a high penalty because of a few dents and scratches. Paying to get your car reconditioned is a lot cheaper, and your insurance tariff will not go up either.

Fixing Insignificant Dents and Dings: Also called paintless dent removal, this is one of the most complicated things we do. Basically, it allows you to remove car dents while leaving the integrity of the paint job intact.

Being paid the Perfect Color Match for Your Car: With West Coast Recon, you can rest assured that we will match your original color perfectly and then airbrush the chips with paint and clear coat, saving you even more time and money.

Headlight Refinishing: Usually when headlights are ancient or have been left outside frequently, they start to turn yellow and chalky, so they are not clear any longer. We can refinish them quickly and efficiently to return them to their bright appearance.

Increasing the Resale Value of Your Car: If you are considering selling your vehicle, there is no skepticism that the better it looks, the more money you will get. Not only will it look more aesthetically pleasing, but potential buyers will reckon it has undergone a lot of like and care. Having it reconditioned before you sell is the only way to go.

Interior Car Repairs: We offer varied services for the interior of your car, and we do it all at the fraction of what a traditional body shop will charge. We can redye your faded door panels, re-dye your carpets, and fix insignificant carpet tears and burns. We provide professional craftsmanship and top quality services for you.

Painting Your Car: We can do small airbrush chip repairs, combined with paintless dent removals, to have your car looking as excellent as possible in modest time, and for a lot less money.

Repainting Car Mirrors and Door Moldings: Car mirrors and door moldings start to look unsightly when they are crying out for a new paint job, but there’s no need to spend a week at the body shop. We can do this for you in a small turnaround time.

Repairing Rock Chips or Scratches: There are two main ways to carry out this procedure. We either use a tiny paintbrush or do airbrush repair. It depends on the type and size of the scratch or chip. Whatever procedure we choose, we always make sure to do it right.

Repairing Interiors of High-End Cars: No matter what car you drive, you want it to stay looking excellent. But if you drive a Porsche, you may have an even larger vested interest. We can do everything to make your car’s interior looking fantastic, from dyeing the leather on your seats to keeping your steering veer in tip-top shape.

Restoring Leather in Your Car: Car leather starts to fade over time, but there is no reason to pay to have those seats or other parts of your car replaced. We can dye the leather so that it looks as excellent as new, and thanks to advanced computer technology, we will guarantee that the color matches perfectly. We know that you’ll be pleased once the job is done.

Why You Should Choose West Coast Recon: We are two brothers with more than 20 years of combined experience in the field, and our business keeps being paid stronger and stronger. We are affordable, professional, and we know what we’re doing. We take away the hassle and leave with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Why You Should Use a movable Car Repair Service: Why do you pay a lot of money to take your car to a body shop when you can have professional craftsmen come to you? We come straight to you and do the job a lot quicker for less money.
